To me reading means a lot of different things. one of the most important things people get out of reading is... Learning. Most of the time when your reading your learning something new. My first memory of learning to read is when... i had to sound out the words in order to figure out how to pronounce them.

My first time reading I had a hard time. And didn't think it would ever happen. Letter on reading started getting easier. But I found it more easy to read in my head then to read out load. Some times my words would get flustered. I think reading more fun when your really into a certain book.

my definition of reading is using all your knowledge of letters transform them into words and read them. in a book or any other object you are able to read off of. my first memory of reading was like in early kindergarten. I picked up an old picture book mostly looked at all the pictures and read very few words.then I took it home to my mom and she read it to me. and from then on I understood the book. and that was pretty much my first memory of reading.

my reading Definition of reading is a skill of reading and written while being silently or reading out loud. So reading is a skill that someone constantly learn but first they master the A, B, C's chart. My first time mastering the chart was easy. but putting words together was really hard. i learned that words form to make a action for example bye i learned that it was the action of telling a person our leaving. And hi is a greeting toward someone. writing was hard but reading was easy because their two separate skills. writing u need to know what letters to put together to make a meaning.

This is my definition of reading.Reading to me is to comprehend something in words to understand the important things of life.As you grow older you learn harder and stronger words that have different meanings and is not used very often. When you put a cobination of words to make sense its gets harder and harder to others around you.The way i learned how to read was always listening to a word and then seeing the action while saying a word. That's what reading means to mean.

My definition of reading is when you look at writing and say all of the words written aloud . My first memory of reading is when i was with my father years ago . I can remember that i hated it because i didn't know what the words spelled out . I can also remember when i was learning how to read in school . it was easier than home because the teachers worked with the students individual and helped our reading skills . i was very good at reading and loved reading since then .

My definition of reading is a simple process that involves reading words and their meaning at the same time. Reading is also a process that requires active participation on the part of the reader.Reading builds vocabulary and it helps people gain more knowledge.Reading helps us understand complex passages and stories and to learn new words. The first time i read a book it was kind of easy but yet it was hard for me to understand some of the words. But after a few times practicing reading wasn't that hard. That is what I think the definition of reading is.

my definition of reading a book is spacing out into a different place while thinking the word into your head. Only if it's a book of interest not one forced to you to read. My first memory of reading is when I was in my first school the Mather school although my memory then is still bad. Cause of sleeping in class and getting my hand slap by a ruler.. being used by the teacher.. while sleeping in front of her. At the same time i was learning to read although every time I got a book for my teacher I was done with it in a minute. That is all i got to say now.

My definition of reading is when you open a book. When I first started reading it was hard because I didn't understand how to read words. Your eyes follow the words until the sentence is over. Also I have been reading since I was 4 years old. When I was 6 I was on a second grade reading level. As I got older reading got easier.

One of the things that i like about reading is that you can read whatever you want to read. Some times i do not like to read but i am going to like it because i know that i am going to need it when i am big. I will like to know how to read a big book because i know that i can not read books like that. And if i do not i am going to take a loing time to read it. But that will be one thing that i will like to know how to do.

Reading is imagining. Reading is using your brain to comprehend. Reading lets you escape, it puts you into a whole new world. When I'm into a good book, I cant put it down. you can learn new vocab. or facts about life. Reading helps your brain grow. There are so many types of books that you can read. I enjoy reading because I like guessing what's going to happen next and then read to see what happens. But, I have to like the book or else I cant follow along.
