From today activity with JFYSci, post one thing you learned about the layers of the Earth, and how scientists determine the amount of layers the Earth has. One paragraph with an example!

I learned about the primary waves & secondary waves . I learned that primary waves only travel on liquids and solids . I also learned about the secondary waves . I learned that secondary waves travel on solids only . primary waves travel faster than primary .

I learned a lot of things about the layers of the earth. I learned that P waves moves through both liquid ans solid layers. S waves only move through solids waves. The P waves moves faster through solid layers. In liquid layers the P waves moves really slow.

I learned that P waves travels through both solids and liquids while S waves travel only through solid material. P waves travel faster through solids than through liquids. This is some facts about what i learned about P waves and S waves.

i learned that P-waves move fast through solid & liquid supplies when a earthquake occurs it produces waves of energy the waves that travel through the earth helps us visualize its interior

I learned that primary waves move faster through solid and liquid materials.Secondary waves move slower through solid materials and not through liquids.Primary and secondary waves produces during an earthquake.Earthquake is an reliable source of information. That is what I learned about primary and secondary waves.

The scientist show that they can find out out the layers of the earth by something called S and P waves. These S and P waves help you to determine how many layers are within each layer.Phis helps because primary waves travel faster than secondary waves. The earth has three layers. The first layer is solid. The second layer is liquid. The inercore belive it or not is solid. These are all things that I learned about the layers of the earth.

I learned about the layers of the
earth, and how the Primary waves go
through the liquid layers and the
solid layers.The Secondary waves
gos through the solid layers.
Primary waves moves faster through
solid layers, and it moves slow trough
the liquid layers.

The properties of seismic waves that are used to obtain information. About the interior of the earth. The P waves travel through both solids and liquids. Each wave has different amount of layers. I think it's inside values are different. Also the waves inside the different planets. Those are the properties of the seismic waves that are used to obtain information.

I learned many things about the primary and secondary waves.Such as the properties of the seismic waves that are used to obtain information about the interior of the earth are the P waves and the S waves. Each wave has different amounts of layers and they all are either solid or liquid. Each layer is different from the other planets. For example the secondary waves travel o solids only. That is what I learned about the layers of the earth.

These are the things that waves do for the earth. S waves only go through solid material. the s waves have the power to go through things like the streets and buildings. the p waves go through solids and liquids.
the p liquids also go through things like water and land

The p waves and s waves are properties used to obtain information of the earth. The p waves travel through both solids and liquids. While the s waves travel through only solid material. Earth has three layers that are solid. The otter layers must be solid and the inner must be liquid.
