Ahh, first term is over! What was one of your most memorable activities here in Science class and why? One paragraph.

These are some of the most memorable activities in science class that I enjoyed. One of the activities is learning the name of the rocks and using the acid to test if the rocks were carbonate or non-carbonate. It was one of the most memorable activity because it was fun to work with partners and share our thoughts.It was also one of the most memorable activity because we also got a chance to touch and experiment real rocks from the grand canyon. Another one of the most memoriable activity is working in the science centers with animals. It was one of the most memorable activity because a lot of people don't have the ability to pet animals and learn about them. Those are some of the most memorable activity in science class that I enjoyed.
One memorable activities in Science Class in my opinion was definitely doing Science Centers and when the Ancient Sailor came to class.First,I would like to say Science Centers because we got to observe the different animals in the classroom.Well I got to work with the mice which was interseting because they moved so fast.Then I also worked with the water clock observing that different liquids makes it work.After when the Ancient Sailor came to class we proved to him the earth is round and not flat.How? We showed Mr.Binjour and the Ancient Sailor when a ship is moving it can be going to the other side of the earth because when it reaches the horizon it doesn't fall off.That is what I think was the most memorable activites in Science Class.
There were many activities that we did in science class. But there was on that will scar me for life. We were in class and Mr. B told us that he had a surprise guest that was visiting. He came in wearing a tablecloth and a silly looking hat from Africa. I was so surprised that he could even keep a straight face through the whole thing. He talked about how the Earth was flat and not rounds. Some of the students were interested but the others could not control themselves. When he came back into the room normal he still continued to go on with the lesson and acted like he never dressed up as the ancient sailor.
I just had so much fun is science class this term.But the most fun I had was when we had to do the moon log.I find it very exciting and exploring filling in the moon log.It was also nice to go outside and just stare into the sky.I work so much better doing hands-on things.At times I couldn't go but I made up those times.This science class was very cool and awesome and great.The moon log was my most exciting part in the term.I'm kind of bummed out that we're moving on to another objective.
The most memorable activities in science class was when we did the drawing of the school.Also, when we did the moon myth project. I choose those two because they are the only thing that was fun and all I can remember.Also because we went outside.Plus we also got make our own stories and we got to read them to our younger siblings, etc.This is what I found the most memorable in science class.
My most memorable activity would be the moon myth. I really enjoyed creating a story about how the moon got created. Then we had to do either a power point or a comic life then present it. I would have to say it was one of the coolest thing we did in this class. The rest was boring no offense. But this term was a cool experience.
There are a lot of memorable moments that I had in science class.I liked when we did the ancient sailor project.It was mad funny when Mr.b came into the class looking liked an old guy that was mad hilarious.His knees was all ashy.I liked the science centers that was fun when the mice were peeing on people in the class.That's some things that I enjoyed in science class for the first term.
Rachel Slobodzinski: The two most memorable activities in science class was the science centers because i got to work with the animals. The hamster was easier to handle because the mice squirmed all over the place. When I was working with the mice, I was holding one and when I wanted to let it down, it wouldn't come off. It was hooked on my finger and no matter how hard i shook my hand the mouse didn't fall. The second memorable activity was with the moon. When we had to put a sticky note on our fore heads and rotate each part of the day. It was fun because Mr. Binjour said that if any group comes closest to getting all the rotations right, that he would buy that group a snack. So, my group won and we got a free snack!
Science this term has been cool with all the new animals and(some)different things in it. My most memorable activity we did in science is the Science Centers.Mainly because of the mouse.Everyone in my group that picked up the mouse ended up having the mouse poop on it and it was so funny.Also when we switched into another center and Rachel's group went to the mouse,the mouse clung to her hand and it didnt want to come off.Rachel was freaking out and it was so funny.So that is the science activity that is most memorable to me.
IN science class this term I have learned about different types of rocks and where they are found.I learned more about the grand canyon and how it was created. i have also learned about different things from the do nows.We did the luster test and ect...We have also started using JFYsci and so far we watched a video and answered some question.we have also worked in the centers and did different experiments.Those are some things we have done so far in science class.

This first term was fun, interesting, and a little hard. The funnest thing was messing with all the animals they where cute yet stinky. Feeling all those different animals was cool because i didn't feel 50% of those things so i guess it was a newer experience. The most interesting thing i did for this first time was when the old Greek ancient guy came to class and told us about the earth ; and he kept saying it was flat. The hardest thing we did so far is the drawing of birds eye view, because i couldn't do the project but it was very cool to see all those different levels of man-made and natural made structures.
