Read this objective for our major Science fair project:
Objective: SWBAT create a memorial site for all of this year’s victims of violence through acquiring a greenspace from the city, schedule days for clean up, research appropriate plant life for the greenspace, prepare soil for research plants, and planning a celebration for the opening of this memorial site.
SO...what do U think? Is this a good idea? Is there another way of presenting this project? Where should we start first?

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH TODAYS BLOG. I BELIEVE THAT IT IS A GOOD IDEA. AND WE SHOULD PURSUE THIS PROJECT IMMEDIATELY. I BELIEVE WE SHOULD START LIKE RIGHT NOW OR ON JANUARY 1ST AS A NEW YEAR. SO EVERY COULD SEE IT AS SOMETHING THAT HAPPEN IN THE PAST.I BELIEVE EVERYONE HAS THERE THOUGHTS ON HOW THEY WANT TO PRESENT THIS PROJECT. BUT I LIKE THIS IDEA.
This a good idea because it lets us do different things i the neighborhood. This will be a bi part of are community because we are doing something good. This will show we have leadership skills. This can be are oppurtunity to do something well for nature and the people in the neighborhood. This will make are neighborhood better. In the future I want to look at my community as a good one.
First we would have to found out what is a problem. Which is hard because we have a lot of problems. Just i don't think it's a good idea because homeless might mess it up. so i wouldn't want to work hard on it and then the weather mess it up. Or other thing like that. so it's kind to do that just it's going to end up getting mess up.
I believe this is a good idea because is a good way for people to remember their love ones. Also it can inspired others to stop the violence because violence is really affecting our society. Its also a bad idea because people can destroy the park. This memorial park is a creative way for people to make wise decisions and to always stay on the right track.
I don't think it would be right for them to that.......it would be wrong for the people who lost.
I believe that is not a good idea. Mostly because a lot of people die each day and that is just going to tire you.
i agree with malik because this is very important to do. just i don't think that we should do it. even if it is a smart idea. so i don't think that we should do this. At all because of these.
Yes I would be a good idea because then its a way that our lost ones would be remembered. Not only that but it would show a lot of respect towards them and their families. I don't care what nobody says because that shows that we care for our people and we want violence to stop. Many people might not like that idea but its worth the try ad effort.
This idea has both pros and cons. Something good about this idea is that, it would be a creativ way for people to actually pay attention to what we are saying. Is good because if can influence others to stop violence. Though, is sort of bad because even though is good for people to remember their love ones is also disrespectful to others because not everyone thinks the same. But other wise I find this idea very nice, and I think we should start already.
I think this idea is really going to spark lots of attention. Every year in Boston communities people die. Mostly young teenagers due to gun violence and gangs. Creating a memorial site to actually honor the people's lives is very touching. We can clean up the greenspace and plant beautiful flowers and maybe even a garden. make a path that people could walk and admire the work we've done. the celebration party should include the kids who build the memorial and the community people. yup!!! this is going to be a great project.
I agree with Escarolyn because is true when she says that "the garden can be destroy". I also agree with Richard because the weather can do damage and is not helpful for homeless people.
When you help others god will bless you with more than you did. Base on what I have read in the objective I strongly agree with the idea. This is said because this idea is a good way for us to help those that did violence to know that they are not a lone there's people that still care about them. This also would help the community to be a new environment not only for us as students, but the people and younger generations coming up and doing what they see. So we should set good examples now that can prepare us for the future and that can make our future brighter. That's why we should take action now and make our community a better place to be for everyone.
I strongly agree with what larry said because this project can make a difference in our community. I know a 100% that we have leadership and should share it with others in our community by doing this project so people can know what we as students stand for, even though we are young we can accomplish big things in life.So what larry said I strongly agree.
there's a different way i would make mermorial site. From what i know and what i do is where the victims was killed thats where is should be. where he or her was last at. Basically his or her last moment to live.
Wow this blog could make a difference on people.I think that this is a good idea in many ways.If more people would look at this "memorial site"for all of this years victims people would problebly stop less violence. but other than that this is a vey good idea....
I think thats a good idea. Since I've experience my loved ones lost, this would be good for others.

Doing things For the environment is very good. The community needs a lot of improvements. The thing that is bad about the world is the trash. The world has too much trash. It is a good Idea to clean up the community.
I think that it was wrong to kill all those people. but it is a good idea to show that every one even if they don't know that person. they should respect that person family in a hard moment.

I disagree with Hector idea. I say this for many reasons. One reason is because a memorial could be anything. Another reason is because a memorial could be anything from a statue to a garden in this case. Plus another reason is because a memorial is something to show others people who died in the past. This is why i disagree with Hector idea.

I thing we should create a greenspace for our city.I will work hard in order to change Boston.I will grow plant to make Boston more alive.I will be glad to make this because people will not have a lot of problem.Right now Boston have a lot of trash on the floor and street.
I think that this is a good idea. I think this is a god idea because everyone has their thoughts on what happen in the past. I think that we should start this next week or so. I really agree with this idea and can't wait to start it. I don't know another way to present this project. when im older i want to look at my past as a good one
Violence is everywhere. I definitely agree with this project. i think this is a good idea. I say that because the violence and all the stuff in the project are growing and if we don't start now it will get worse. I think we should start the project as soon as possible. We should start in our community first. this is a very important project.
I don't think that this is a good idea because people have friends and family that have died and it was not because of violence. I believe that the idea should be extended to people who have lost family members who have died of other causes such as natural, strokes, heart attacks, drug overdoses, etc. Otherwise the project idea is pretty good overall.
There is nobody that I agree with because there is nobody that said what I said about extending the memorial site to more than victims of violence.
