For years, experts have been saying that the world will soon run out of crude oil, the main ingredient drives most of today's machinery.
"With the rapid decline of global oil supplies, the United States is heading for an economic crash unlike anything since the 1930s. And the collapse of the dollar will affect every nation on earth."
With this happening, the threat of a '"resource war" is possible, to the scale of a "World War III". Some people say that the Iraq war now is a "resource war" and our only interest is the oil the nation possess. But there are alternatives like bio-fuel cars that run on methane, or hydrogen-cell cars that produce instead of clouds of carbon monoxide, but containers of water. These cars also have way better gas mileage than gas-burning cars, too. These new innovations in alternative fuels come at a higher price, in comparison to regular gas-burning cars. So...what do you think? Why aren't most auto-industries turning into the direction of creating cars that use "green" fuels? Would you now buy/suggest buying "green" cars knowing that this possibility exist in the "not too distance future?"

Wow this is weird. Well the war with Iraq Is cause of Bush. If they keep fighting for oil we can all be in danger. All of the moving of the cars and stuff will bring us to an end. would we want to change to green fuel? Maybe but some might not because it costs more. So we going to keep using the gas we have now so that is what is going to hurt us all. Then a war world 3. That is even worse. This will all just over oil that we might die. The government should just change the gas for the cars and not tell them then act like the price is just going higher.
The future of car fuel is here. Scientist are trying to use easy access fuels like methane or hydrogen-cell. This is because we are running out of oil. We might of solved the car fuel but what do we do with other things that use oil. The reason why other cars dont switch to green fuel is because its unreliable. Scientist dont truly know if green fuel is a better method. When you run out of fuel in the middle of the highway on a car that runs on methane what do you do?
well....the right thing to do is to buy a green car or something but im not sure if i will buy becuase 1, i dont know where to get it. 2, there arent many out there. 3, it woudnt make a difference if one person in the world used green fuel or something.
This whole article was very confusing. I believe the whole blog was about the nation oil. And how there is only a war because of the oil which is called a resource war. It could effect the future if we don't have oil. So the war was basically about the oil over in Iraq. I really wouldn't consider buying a green car in th near future because of the oil and what not.
i think that yes we should start buying green fuels so there can be a longer future and there won't be world war three.
The article is really interesting and does has a point. I think people should not suggest or start only buying green cars. It would not make know sense for every one to drive green cars in the world. I under stand the green fuel but every one should get to drive what car and what color they want there car. Oil is important every where but we do need more oil in the united states. I think the government needs to do some thing about oil.

Wow like this is mad weird. On how we are really fighting the people in Iraq. But its like really over not having oil. So it is really Bush's fault why all the people over their are dieing. That's the whole reason why everyone in the U.S is in danger, with people in Iraq.
Larry why does the color of the car matter to what fuel it use? There is no difference between a car running on oil or one running on methane. Nothing changes except what fuel is being used. You're right gas is important, but where getting the fuel from a place that wants to kill us. The government dosen't know anything and even if they did know what to do they would of done something better than oil like solar energy.

I believe i agree with most all my classmates who did the blog. The said that the world can come to an end. And the basically was talking about how the oil is effecting the world. I agree with stacey because every thing is weird. There talking about different subjects. Oil is a big part of the world but going to war over oil every one is in danger. Every one could die. According to the article, "In the not too distance future..." a new type of car will be made. That type of car is a "hydrogen cell car". A hydrogen-cell car runs on methane instead of gas. What that means is that instead of a hydrogen-cell car producing carbon monoxide, it will produce gallons of water. The good thing about a hydrogen-cell cars is that it has better gas mileage. The bad thing about it is that it's more expensive. By that being said, I would not suggest buying a "green " car knowing that this possibility exist in the "not too distance future." I would rather pay for gas and save money instead of spending more money on a hydrogen- cell cars. I believe that most auto-industries are switching to hydrogen-cell cars because they want more money.
i think that if the usa wants oil that they should just buy it like they used to buy it befor. i mean why go to war and have people dying for oil when you can just buy it normal. i mean even if we do win the war i doubt that iraq is going to just give us the oil. even if iraq does give us the oil free us as in the citizens are still going to have to buy it in the supermarket naormal so we are benafiting from any of this.

I think that i would rather have a car that runs on gas than a green car. I understand that we are running out of oil but green cars cost a lot of money. At the same time i think that we should use green cars because it helps to save the environment. So i rather have a green cars that runs on vegetables than a car than runs on gas that can run out later o in life.
The war that is taking place is because of one persons decisions and thats Bush. He clams that there is more oil in Iraq, so why don't they just bring it to the US. I don't think there was ever any oil. I think Bush Sent them down there for his own personal reasons. He is putting his Country in danger by his lack of choice. I think the car idea is good. We should use oil for good purposes like cooking and heat. I believe the fact that gas and oil will run out eventually, so there should be a back up plan to keep the world going.
Finding new ideas to better our future in great. The idea of green cars in my view I think it should be done. If we use so many gas in one day, many gas is spent. Green cars is just another way to use less gas. As more ideas come up ; better. Since green cars work with other ways then gas then it should be done. I do think that we should begin using green cars. I think so because now and days we use mad gas. Not only with in our house hold but also in use of cars. We should start using green cars because then when gas runs out what are we going to use then? That's why it's better to have a back up use for electronic energy. There are many sides to this story about oil and how it started,but to me I think its bushes fault.This said because he is just greedy and wants everything that other people have. Auto-company will forever make cars with gas that is not good for the environment because they are enjoying the ''profit'' they are making now. Well I will suggest in a green car cause it will help save the world.Cause when you drive gas burning cars it is poluting the air and people that has asthma it is harming thier breathing. I think that this whole thing is crazy no lie. I say this for many reasons. One reason is because the United States is sending innocent people to fight in Iraq for oil man that just crazy. What I think is cars that run on hydrogen is a good idea. Hydrogen does not phase global warming so that is good. I am glad that cars don't just run on gas. I would buy cars that use 'green' fuel. I would buy these kind of cars because they have better gas mileage. That's better.

The thing is people don't buy those cars because of the price of the vehicles. Like those Hybrid cars from Toyota. I only see three of those cars in my neighborhood. Green cars will be better because the more green cars there is the lest gas we are using.We use cars to get every were and cars use gas and gas makes are air toxic.Green cars are cleaner and do not use gas(the most toxic thing on Earth)

Green cars can save the world. i think it is a good idea to make more green cars. one reason why it is a good idea is that the cars will be more environmental friendly. when i was watching a show on discovery channel a guy was using bio-diesel in his car and he got 50 miles per hr. And it smelled like olive oil. i would definitely buy a green car. the reason why is that i want to e a environmental scientist and i'll be helping the environment by just driving my green car.
I think that the president has got to end the war and that the nation make more gas free cars. and that the nation let people make a couple of helpful laws like the making cheap bio diseale fueled cars and hydrogen cars that run on water fuel. that is what i think about the poll question.

WORLD WAR III! That doesn't sound to good to me. I think that if the global oil supply is rapidly declining if there is another supply that can be used as oil then why not use it. It would be a better and smarter idea if people stared using "green" fuels.
